Introduction
Competitive Platform Pricing
Aureon offers simple, transparent platform pricing designed to help you scale. We charge a flat 4.9% per transaction, covering both our platform infrastructure and standard payment processing.
No Hidden Markups
While specific transactions or payouts may incur extra network fees charged by Stripe, Aureon passes these through at cost. We never add hidden fees or platform markups on top of them.
Transaction Fees
4.9% per transaction
Aureon's payment infrastructure is powered by Stripe Connect. Our 4.9% fee covers standard credit card processing rates (such as Stripe's base 2.9% + 30¢). However, Stripe imposes a few additional network fees for certain transaction types that we pass on at cost.
Additional Fees
- +1.5% for international cards (non-US)
- +0.5% for subscription payments
Example
Let's look at an example breakdown with these additional fees applied. Below is a payment of a $30 subscription from Sweden (assuming a 25% VAT calculated via Stripe Tax).

Refunds
You have full control to issue both full or partial refunds to your customers directly through the Aureon dashboard. However, please note that initial transaction fees are not refunded to you, as credit card networks and Stripe charge them regardless of whether a purchase is later refunded.
As the seller, you maintain direct relationships with your customers. We recommend establishing clear refund policies for your digital products to proactively resolve customer issues before they escalate into disputes.
Dispute/Chargeback Fees
Sometimes, customers can open a dispute/chargeback via their bank for a purchase. Disputes cost $15 per dispute regardless of the outcome, and this amount is deducted from your balance directly. This fee is charged by the underlying credit card networks and Stripe, and therefore cannot be refunded.
As a business owner operating on our platform, you are responsible for handling disputes and providing evidence to the card networks via your dashboard.
Credit card networks impose strict monitoring programs, penalties, and higher chargeback costs for sellers with high dispute rates (~0.7%+). Maintaining a healthy, low dispute rate is required to keep your Stripe Connect account in good standing.
If your connected account experiences excessive chargebacks that violate Stripe's network rules, we may be required by our payment partners to suspend processing capabilities for your account.
Payout Fees
Funds are settled and paid out to your bank account via Stripe Connect. While payouts incur fees charged by Stripe, Aureon does not add any platform markup to these transactions. These are strictly Stripe's network and routing fees.
Payout schedules and frequencies are managed directly through your connected Stripe Express/Custom dashboard, keeping you in control of your cash flow.
